Pizza Delight

Breakfast Pizza Delight

Ingredients:

1 package Jimmy Dean pork sausage crumbles
1 cup homemade gravy (or use country gravy packets for convenience)
1 refrigerated pizza crust (or canned biscuits for a twist)
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the pizza crust packaging.

Cook the Sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Jimmy Dean pork sausage crumbles until browned and fully cooked. Remove excess grease if necessary.

Prepare the Gravy:
While the sausage is cooking, prepare the gravy. If using a homemade recipe, follow your favorite recipe. Alternatively, you can use country gravy packets following the instructions on the package.

Roll Out the Pizza Crust:
Roll out the refrigerated pizza crust on a lightly floured surface. If using canned biscuits, flatten each biscuit into a thin round shape.

Assemble the Pizza:
Place the rolled-out pizza crust or flattened biscuits onto a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread the cooked sausage crumbles evenly over the crust. Pour the prepared gravy over the sausage, ensuring even coverage. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.

Bake:
Bake the breakfast pizza in the preheated oven according to the instructions on the pizza crust packaging or until the crust is golden brown, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve and Enjoy:
Once the breakfast pizza is out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes. Slice it into wedges or squares, depending on your preference. Serve warm and enjoy your nostalgic breakfast pizza!

Optional Additions:

For a touch of freshness, top the pizza with chopped green onions or fresh herbs after baking.
Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a hint of heat.
Serve with hot sauce or ketchup on the side for dipping.
This Breakfast Pizza Delight is a quick and easy recipe that captures the essence of the school breakfast pizza we all remember. Feel free to customize it with your favorite toppings for a delicious morning treat!
