Sausage and Broccoli Cheesy Pasta Bake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3 packs of Knorr pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets and steamed
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) while you prepare the other ingredients.

2. Cook Smoked Sausage: In a large skillet, heat a bit of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced smoked sausage and sprinkle it with smoked paprika. Sauté until the sausage slices are browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Prepare Pasta: Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside.

4. Steam Broccoli: While the pasta is cooking, steam the broccoli florets until they are tender but still crisp. You can steam them using a steamer basket or microwave them with a little water until they are cooked to your liking. Drain any excess water and set aside.

5. Mix Everything Together: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, sautéed smoked sausage, and steamed broccoli. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients.

6. Assemble and Bake: Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture, covering it completely.

7. Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.

8. Serve: Remove the pasta bake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or basil if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Sausage and Broccoli Cheesy Pasta Bake!
