Cheesesteak Stromboli Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of Steak-umm thinly sliced beef
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • Steak seasoning (to taste)
  • 1-2 cans of Pillsbury original pizza dough
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and onions to the skillet and cook until the beef is browned and the onions are caramelized. Season with steak seasoning to taste. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (160°C).
  3. Roll out one can of Pillsbury original pizza dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the cooked cheesesteak meat evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the cheesesteak mixture.
  6. Roll out the second can of pizza dough and carefully place it over the cheesesteak and cheese layer.
  7. Gently press the edges of the two dough layers together to seal in the filling.
  8. Fold and pinch the ends of the dough together to enclose the filling completely, creating a Stromboli shape.
  9. Carefully transfer the Stromboli to the preheated air fryer basket. You may need to cook it in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  10. Air fry the Stromboli at 325°F (160°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and crispy.
  11. Once cooked, remove the Cheesesteak Stromboli from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  12. Slice the Stromboli into individual portions and serve hot, optionally with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
