👉 Pineapple Angel Cloud Cake

A box of Angel Food Cake ❤ mix (just the contents of the box, no need to follow the directions on the box), and combine it with a 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple in its own juice. (No need to use a mixer, just stir it by hand) When you do this, something magical happens. The mixture starts to froth and it turns into an amazingly airy, fluffy bowl of deliciousness right before your eyes. Once it’s all mixed up, simply pour it into a 9 x 13 baking dish and bake it at 350 for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
For those who’ve asked no greasing required! Greasing the pan would prevent the cake from rising up in the oven as the batter would have nothing to cling onto as it bakes

Pineapple Angel Cloud Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Angel Food Cake mix
  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple in its own juice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, empty the contents of the Angel Food Cake mix.
  3. Open the can of crushed pineapple and pour the entire contents, including the juice, into the bowl with the cake mix.
  4. Using a spatula or a spoon, gently stir the mixture until well combined. As you mix, you’ll notice the magical transformation as the mixture starts to froth and become airy and fluffy.
  5. Once thoroughly mixed, pour the batter into an ungreased 9 x 13 baking dish. No need to grease the pan, as this would prevent the cake from rising properly.
  6. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake springs back when lightly touched.
  7. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
  8. Serve slices of this heavenly Pineapple Angel Cloud Cake on its own or with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of powdered sugar, and enjoy the fluffy, airy deliciousness!

Note:

  • Be sure to use a baking dish of appropriate size (9 x 13) to allow the cake to rise properly.
  • This recipe doesn’t require a mixer; simply stir the ingredients together by hand until combined.
