πŸ‘‰ Baked Chicken Legs

Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Legs

Ingredients:

4 chicken legs
2 tablespoons garlic salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided (1/2 tablespoon per leg)
Optional: additional seasoning of your choice (such as black pepper, paprika, or herbs)
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Prepare the chicken legs by patting them dry with paper towels. This helps ensure a crispy skin.

Sprinkle garlic salt evenly over each chicken leg, rubbing it into the skin for even distribution. You can adjust the amount of garlic salt according to your taste preferences.

Place each seasoned chicken leg in a baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Slice the butter into thin pieces and place about 1/2 tablespoon of butter on top of each chicken leg.

If desired, add additional seasoning of your choice on top of the buttered chicken legs. Keep it simple with just a sprinkle of black pepper, or get creative with paprika, thyme, or rosemary.

Place the baking dish or sheet in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 1 hour, or until the chicken legs are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and the internal temperature reaches 165Β°F (75Β°C).

Once baked, remove the chicken legs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring tender and juicy meat.

Serve the garlic butter baked chicken legs hot, alongside your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh garden salad.

Enjoy your delicious and easy-to-make garlic butter baked chicken legs!
