Cheese Tortellini Shrimp Alfredo Recipe:


  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups warmed milk
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Onion powder, to taste
  • Dried parsley, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Dash of creole seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the melted butter and garlic, stirring constantly to create a roux. Cook the roux for 2-3 minutes until it turns a light golden brown color.
