  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 4 hot dogs, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Drain and rinse the baked beans if desired, or use them directly from the can.
    • Finely chop the onion.
    • Slice the hot dogs into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Sauté the Onion and Hot Dogs:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the chopped onion and sliced hot dogs to the skillet.
    • Sauté until the onions are translucent and the hot dogs are lightly browned, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Combine with Baked Beans:
    • Once the onions and hot dogs are cooked, add the baked beans to the skillet.
    • Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Simmer:
    • Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
    • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

    • Taste the mixture and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
    • Once seasoned to your liking, remove the skillet from the heat.
  6. Serve:
    • Transfer the beans and hotdogs to a serving dish.
