This was delicious and we will have leftovers!
One rotisserie chicken ($4.98 from Sam’s Club
One jar Alfredo sauce (2.34)
1 cup of chicken broth (already had on hand)
One bag mozzarella cheese (2.98)
One box of rotini noodles (already had on hand)
Seasonings (we used garlic and onion powder)
Cook noodles until done and drain. Shred rotisserie chicken. Pour noodles into 9×13 pan, pour one cup of chicken broth and jar of alfredo sauce over noodles, spread chicken on top, season with garlic and onion powder, cover with foil and bake 20 minutes at 425. Take out of oven, stir to mix everything together, cover with mozzarella cheese and put back in oven until cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with your favorite side (we chose garlic bread) and enjoy!
Creamy Chicken Alfredo Bake
- 1 rotisserie chicken ($4.98 from Sam’s Club)
- 1 jar Alfredo sauce ($2.34)
- 1 cup chicken broth (already had on hand)
- 1 bag mozzarella cheese ($2.98)
- 1 box of rotini noodles (already had on hand)
- Seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper)
- Optional: Garlic bread, for serving
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Prepare the Noodles: Cook the rotini noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. Shred the Chicken: While the noodles are cooking, shred the rotisserie chicken into bite-sized pieces. Discard bones and skin.
4. Assemble the Dish:
- In a 9×13-inch baking pan, spread the cooked noodles evenly.
- Pour one cup of chicken broth and the jar of Alfredo sauce over the noodles.
- Add the shredded rotisserie chicken on top of the sauce and noodles.
- Season the dish with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together.
6. Add Cheese and Finish Baking:
- After 20 minutes, remove the dish from the oven and carefully stir the contents to mix everything together.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the dish.
- Return the pan to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Remove the dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Serve the creamy chicken Alfredo bake hot with your favorite side, such as garlic bread.
