A comfort food from my childhood!
Loved when mom made this!
Hamburgers and French onion soup used on the mashed potatoes as well! So good!
I start off by making the French onion soup according to directions and set aside
I make Hamburgers ( egg breadcrumb seasonings of choice ) cut an onion in slivers and then get a skillet add oil and when hot caramelize onions when done add the hamburger patties (I like the pan to be hot get a good sear on each side helps with texture when eaten with potatoes ) once almost done I add about 3 cups of French onion soup to pan and let Hamburgers finish cooking in it
* for mashed I used Idaho instant was being lazy, I usually add milk butter to make them taste better lol but just add your favorite veggies as a side and volia amazing meal
When plating make sure get the French onion on mashed and Hamburgers
