Party potatoes .. cheap, easy & delish!!
1 bag of hash browns
1.5 cans cream of mushroom
1 pack of bacon, baked and chopped
3/4 brick of marble cheese
1 tub of sour cream
Small bag of doritos, crushed
*feeds 5 with leftovers
Side note: let hash browns thaw before cooking and bake at 400 for 45min – 1hr

Bacon-Delight Party Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag (about 30 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1.5 cans (about 21 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 pack of bacon, baked and chopped
  • 3/4 brick (about 6 oz) marble cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 small bag of Doritos, crushed (about 2 cups)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Prepare the Hash Browns:

  • Thaw the frozen hash browns according to the package instructions.
  • Spread the thawed hash browns in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

3. Mix the Cream of Mushroom Soup:

  • In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  • Spread the soup mixture evenly over the hash browns.

4. Layer on the Goodness:

  • Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the cream of mushroom layer.

5. Add the Cheese:

  • Evenly distribute the shredded marble cheese over the bacon layer.

6. Dollop with Sour Cream:

  • Using a spoon, place dollops of sour cream across the dish, ensuring even distribution.

7. Top it Off with Crunch:

  • Sprinkle the crushed Doritos over the entire dish for a delicious crunchy topping.

8. Bake to Perfection:

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.

9. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
