Homemade chicken taquitos – several ways you can make them.
This is just one way we tried it. We’re doing buffalo chicken next!
ingredient:
One rotisserie chicken – shredded ($4.98 at Sam’s Club)
One block of cream cheese
1/3 cup sour cream
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
Steps:
Mix all ingredients together – including shredded chicken.
Warm up the tortillas in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. Take 2-3 tablespoons of the chicken mixture and put it in the middle of the tortilla and roll it up tightly.
Take a toothpick and insert in so it doesn’t unroll. Warm up some oil in a skillet and fry each side for 2-3 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with sour cream or salsa. This was actually really good.
