Microwave Potatoes

Microwave Potatoes:

Ingredients:

Potatoes (preferably red potatoes), chunked into bite-size pieces
Seasonings of your choice (e.g., roasted garlic and herb, season salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper)
Butter
Instructions:

Wash the potatoes thoroughly and chop them into bite-sized chunks. You can leave the skin on for extra flavor and texture.
Place the potato chunks in a microwave-safe covered dish. Make sure the dish is large enough to allow room for stirring.
Sprinkle your desired seasonings over the potatoes. Get creative with your seasoning choices!
Add a few pats of butter on top of the seasoned potatoes. This will add richness and flavor as they cook.
Cover the dish with a microwave-safe lid or microwave-safe plastic wrap. Make sure the cover is vented to allow steam to escape.
Microwave the potatoes on high power for about 7 minutes. After this initial cooking time, remove the dish from the microwave and give the potatoes a good stir.
Return the dish to the microwave and continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes, depending on the size of your potato chunks and the power of your microwave.
Stir the potatoes again to ensure even cooking. At this point, check for doneness by inserting a fork into a potato chunk. If it goes in easily and the potato is tender, they’re done. If not, return the dish to the microwave for additional cooking time, checking every few minutes until the potatoes reach the desired level of tenderness.
Once the potatoes are fork-tender, carefully remove the dish from the microwave. Be cautious as it may be hot.
Serve your delicious microwave potatoes as a side dish or enjoy them as a tasty snack. They’re sure to be a hit with everyone
