Kool aid pie

This turned out to be REALLY good… It surprised me… It’s called a Kool-aid pie, yes I said Kool-aid… All it is,

  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bowl (8 ounces) Cool Whip (or a similar whipped topping)
  • 1 package of Kool-Aid drink mix (any flavor you prefer)
  • 1 graham cracker pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

  1. Prepare Your Pie Crust:
    • If you’re using a store-bought graham cracker pie crust, you’re all set. If you’d like to make your own, you can crush graham crackers and mix them with melted butter to form a crust in a pie dish. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of the dish. You can bake it for 8-10 minutes at 350°F (175°C) for a firmer crust, but it’s optional for this recipe.
  2. Mix the Kool-Aid:
    • In a mixing bowl, empty the package of Kool-Aid drink mix.
  3. Add Sweetened Condensed Milk:
    • Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk over the Kool-Aid powder.
  4. Fold in Cool Whip:
    • Carefully fold the Cool Whip into the Kool-Aid and sweetened condensed milk mixture. Gently combine until the ingredients are fully incorporated, and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Be cautious not to overmix; you want to keep it light and fluffy.
  5. Fill the Pie Crust:
    • Pour the creamy mixture into the graham cracker pie crust. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
  6. Chill:
    • Cover the pie with plastic wrap or foil and place it in the refrigerator. Allow it to chill for at least 4 hours, or until it’s firm.
  7. Serve:
    • Once the Kool-Aid Pie has set and is chilled, it’s ready to serve. You can garnish it with some additional Cool Whip, fruit, or a sprinkle of Kool-Aid powder for added flavor and decoration.
  8. Enjoy:
    • Slice and serve this delightful Kool-Aid Pie to your guests or enjoy it as a sweet treat for yourself. It’s a unique and surprisingly delicious dessert that’s sure to please everyone’s taste buds.
  9. Variations:
    • You can get creative with your Kool-Aid Pie by choosing different Kool-Aid flavors to create various colorful and flavorful pies. Experiment with different combinations to discover your favorite!
  10. Storage:
    • Any leftover Kool-Aid Pie can be stored in the refrigerator, covered, for a few days. Make sure to keep it chilled to maintain its creamy texture.
