Kathy Helper (Beef Pasta)

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained
2-3 cups large macaroni
4 cups water
2 cups beef broth
3 packets of store-grade beef gravy mix
Instructions:

Cook the Macaroni:

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Add the macaroni and cook according to the package instructions until just tender.
Drain any excess water from the pot.
Prepare the Beef Mixture:

In the same pot used for cooking the macaroni, add the cooked and drained ground beef.
Pour in 2 cups of beef broth into the pot with the beef. This will add flavor and moisture to the dish.
Mix in the Gravy:

Before adding hot water, combine the 3 packets of store-grade beef gravy mix with the beef broth. This will help prevent lumps when mixing with hot water.
Gradually add the gravy mixture to the pot while stirring continuously to ensure it’s evenly distributed.
Continue stirring until the mixture begins to thicken.
Combine the Macaroni and Beef Mixture:

Once the beef mixture has thickened to your desired consistency, add the cooked macaroni to the pot.
Stir well to combine, ensuring that the beef mixture coats the macaroni evenly.
Final Adjustments:

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. You can add salt, pepper, or any additional herbs or spices according to your preference.
Serve:

Once everything is well combined and heated through, your Kathy Helper is ready to be served.
Serve hot as a comforting and satisfying meal for you and your family.
Enjoy your homemade Kathy Helper, a delicious alternative to the classic Beef Pasta dish
