Creamy Egg Noodles with Chicken Sauce

Simple, cheap and filling!
1 bag of egg noodles
2 cans cream of chicken
Milk
Parsley
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Cook egg noodles to desired done (I prefer less done), drain. Add in the rest of the ingredients. I only add enough milk to thin down the sauce. Heat through & serve. I like garlic bread or a salad. Today though, just the noodles.

Creamy Egg Noodles with Chicken Sauce

Ingredients:

1 bag of egg noodles
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup milk (adjust to desired consistency)
1 teaspoon parsley flakes, dried
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:

Cook the Egg Noodles:

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente (slightly underdone). Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken Sauce:

In a large saucepan, combine the cream of chicken soup, milk, parsley flakes, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the soup is fully incorporated into the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add more milk a little at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.
Season the Sauce:

Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper as needed. Remember that the cream of chicken soup already contains salt, so be cautious with the additional salt.
Combine the Noodles and Sauce:

Add the cooked and drained egg noodles to the sauce. Gently toss the noodles in the sauce until they are well coated.
Serve:

Remove the pan from the heat and let it sit for a minute or two to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve the creamy egg noodles with chicken sauce hot, garnished with a sprinkle of parsley and grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
Optional Serving Suggestion:

Garlic Bread: Toast slices of your favorite bread and spread them with garlic butter for a delicious side.
Salad: Prepare a simple green salad with your favorite vegetables and dress it with your preferred dressing.
Enjoy your simple, cheap, and filling meal!
