👉 GlazedPork Chops

I want to thank whoever suggested cooking pork chops in baked beans!! I had some chops, added a family size can of brown sugar baked beans, a can of mushroom pieces, and about 1/2 cup water and baked at 350 for about 45 min. I kept spooning the beans over the chops every 10 min or so. We did corn on the cob on the side. It was delicious and super easy/cheap!! I promise a chop is uner that lol

Baked Bean Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 family-size can (28 oz) of brown sugar baked beans
  • 1 can (8 oz) of mushroom pieces, drained
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon olive oil for searing
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If desired, season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In a large oven-safe skillet or baking dish, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust. This step is optional but adds extra flavor to the chops.
  3. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar baked beans, drained mushroom pieces, and water. Mix well.
  4. Place the seared pork chops in the baking dish or skillet.
  5. Pour the bean and mushroom mixture over the pork chops, ensuring they are well-coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Every 10 minutes or so, spoon the bean mixture over the chops to keep them moist and enhance the flavor.
  8. While the pork chops are baking, prepare corn on the cob as a delicious side dish.
  9. Once the pork chops are cooked through and tender, remove them from the oven.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired, and serve the baked bean glazed pork chops alongside the corn on the cob.

Enjoy this simple, budget-friendly, and flavorful meal that combines the savory goodness of pork chops with the sweet and rich taste of brown sugar baked beans!
