Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (leftover from cheeseburger subs)
  • 1 head of lettuce, shredded (leftover from yesterday’s meal)
  • 2 tomatoes, diced (leftover from yesterday’s meal)
  • 1 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Ortega sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
  • Jalapeños (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ground Beef:
    • Reheat the leftover ground beef from the cheeseburger subs in a skillet over medium heat. Break it up with a spatula and cook until heated through.
  2. Assemble the Base:
    • In a large salad bowl, layer the shredded lettuce as the base.
  3. Add Tomatoes and Cheese:
    • Sprinkle the diced tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese over the lettuce.
