Beef Lo Mein Stir Fry Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb rib eye steak, thinly sliced (or meat of choice)
  • 8 oz Simply Asian Lo Mein Noodles (or any other preferred noodles)
  • 1 green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • Handful of green beans or sugar snap peas, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon steak or meat seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons PF Chang’s teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking
  • Optional garnish: Sesame seeds and green onions

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Noodles:
    • Cook the Simply Asian Lo Mein Noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Meat:
    • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
    • Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.
    • Add the sliced rib eye steak (or meat of choice) to the skillet.
    • Season the meat with soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, sesame oil, Worcestershire sauce, and steak or meat seasoning.
    • Cook the meat until fully cooked and slightly browned. If using rib eye steak, this will enhance the flavor.
  3. Add Vegetables:
    • Once the meat is cooked, push it to one side of the skillet.
    • Add another tablespoon of vegetable oil to the empty side of the skillet.
    • Add green pepper, onion, carrots, and green beans (or sugar snap peas) to the skillet.
    • Stir-fry the vegetables until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
  4. Combine Everything:
    • Combine the cooked meat and vegetables in the skillet, mixing them together.
  5. Sauce it Up:
    • Pour in additional soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and PF Chang’s teriyaki sauce.
    • Stir everything well to ensure even coating of the sauce on the meat and vegetables.
  6. Finish and Serve:
    • Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss them with the meat and vegetables until well combined.
    • Allow everything to heat through for a couple of minutes.
    • Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
    • Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  7. Serve Hot:
    • Plate your delicious Beef Lo Mein stir fry and enjoy your homemade Asian-inspired meal!
