Garlic knots

Garlic knots – with cheesy chicken sausage Alfredo 😝

Ingredients
I used the Prego four cheese Alfredo sauce
Zummo sausages,
Chicken breast, & also shrimp
With penne pasta

Ingredients:

For Garlic Knots:

  • 1 pound pizza dough, homemade or store-bought
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt, to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)

For Cheesy Chicken Sausage Alfredo:

  • 1 pound penne pasta, cooked according to package instructions
  • 1 pound Zummo sausages, sliced
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) Prego four cheese Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Prepare the Garlic Knots: a. Divide the pizza dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a rope. b. Tie the ropes into knots and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. c. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt. d. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the knots. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

3. Prepare the Cheesy Chicken Sausage Alfredo: a. In a large skillet, cook the sliced Zummo sausages over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside. b. In the same skillet, add diced chicken breast. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove from the skillet and set aside. c. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside. d. Reduce the heat to low and pour the Prego four cheese Alfredo sauce into the skillet. Stir in the cooked sausages, chicken, and shrimp. Cook until the sauce is heated through. e. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss until the pasta is well coated with the sauce. f. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts and becomes bubbly.

4. Assemble the Dish: Serve the hot and cheesy chicken sausage Alfredo over the prepared garlic knots. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, and fresh basil leaves.
