CHEAP meal

Not the best-looking meal but so yummy and pretty cheap! I take 2 Knorr sides-chicken flavor, 1 pound of ground beef, about a cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and a can of corn. I cook the noodles, cook the ground beef and season it to my liking, then I add the cooked ground beef to the noodles. I drain the corn and add it. Then I melt in the shredded cheese. So yummy!

Cheesy Beef and Corn Pasta Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages of Knorr sides (chicken flavor or any preferred flavor)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking ground beef)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: your favorite seasoning blend (like Italian seasoning, paprika, or chili powder) for added flavor

Instructions:

1. Prepare Knorr Sides:

  • In a large pot, prepare the Knorr sides according to the package instructions. Cook the noodles until they are tender. Once cooked, set aside.

2. Cook Ground Beef:

  • While the noodles are cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon or spatula as it cooks. Cook until the beef is browned and no longer pink, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.

3. Season the Beef:

  • Season the cooked ground beef with salt, pepper, and your preferred seasoning blend. This is where you can customize the flavor to your liking. Stir well to incorporate the seasonings evenly into the beef.

4. Combine Ingredients:

  • Add the seasoned ground beef to the cooked Knorr sides in the pot. Mix well to combine the beef and noodles.

5. Add Corn:

  • Drain the can of corn and add it to the pot. Stir to distribute the corn evenly throughout the mixture.

6. Melt Shredded Cheese:

  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef, noodle, and corn mixture. Cover the pot with a lid and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the cheese to melt. Alternatively, you can place the pot under a broiler for a couple of minutes to melt and slightly brown the cheese.

7. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Once the cheese is melted and gooey, remove the pot from heat. Give everything a final gentle stir to incorporate the melted cheese. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Serve hot in bowls or on plates. It might not be the prettiest meal, but it’s certainly delicious and budget-friendly!
