Doritos Loaded Nacho Burger Supreme
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies), drained
- 1 cup Kroger brand “Velveeta,” cubed
- 1 cup Colby Jack shredded cheese
- Doritos nacho cheese-flavored chips
- Burger buns
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ground Beef:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to incorporate the seasonings evenly into the meat.
- Form Burger Patties:
- Divide the seasoned ground beef into equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Cook the Burger Patties:
- Cook the burger patties on a grill or stovetop until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
- Create the Cheese Sauce:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the cubed Kroger brand “Velveeta” while stirring continuously to prevent burning.
- Add Rotel:
- Once the cheese is melted, add the drained Rotel to the saucepan. Stir until the Rotel is well incorporated into the cheese sauce. Keep the heat low to maintain a creamy consistency.
- Assemble the Nacho Burger:
- On each burger bun, place a cooked patty.
- Spoon the Rotel and Velveeta cheese sauce generously over each patty.
- Top with Colby Jack Cheese:
- Sprinkle a generous amount of Colby Jack shredded cheese on top of the cheese sauce.
- Crush Doritos:
- Crush the Doritos nacho cheese-flavored chips and sprinkle them over the cheese-topped burgers. This adds a crunchy texture and extra nacho flavor.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Close the burger with the bun’s top half and serve immediately.
