Air fryer bagel pizza!
Literally the easiest dinner to make and the kids love it!
•Regular plain bagels
•marinara sauce
•I use mozzarella cheese and pepperonis
•I do 2 half’s at the same time in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 3 min
Ingredients:
- 2 bagels, split in half
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Your favorite pizza toppings (e.g., pepperoni, sliced bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, etc.)
- Olive oil (optional)
- Italian seasoning or dried basil (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
- While the air fryer is preheating, prepare the bagel halves. You can lightly brush them with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of Italian seasoning or dried basil for added flavor if you like.
- Spread a generous spoonful of pizza sauce on each bagel half. Leave a small border around the edges for the crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Be as cheesy as you like!
- Add your favorite pizza toppings. Get creative with your choices, but don’t overload the bagels to ensure even cooking.
- Carefully place the bagel pizza halves in the preheated air fryer basket. You might need to do this in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook the bagel pizzas in the air fryer for about 5-6 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and starts to brown, and the bagels are toasted to your liking. Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer, so keep a close eye on them.
- If you like a little heat, sprinkle some red pepper flakes over the bagel pizzas before serving.
- Carefully remove the bagel pizzas from the air fryer, as they’ll be hot. Let them cool for a minute or two, then slice them into wedges or halves, depending on your preference.
- Serve your air fryer bagel pizzas hot, and enjoy your quick and delicious meal or snack!
