Ham and Vegetable Stuffing Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen peas and carrots
  • 2 boxes stove top stuffing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups chopped ham
  • 1/2 can water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. Prepare Vegetables and Stuffing: Cook the frozen peas and carrots according to the package instructions. Also, prepare the stove top stuffing mix as directed on the boxes.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked peas, carrots, chopped ham, and cream of chicken soup. Stir well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Add Water: Pour in 1/2 can of water into the mixture and stir again. This will help to bind the ingredients together and create a creamy consistency.
  5. Layer in Casserole Dish: Transfer the mixture into the greased casserole dish, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Top with Stuffing: Spread the prepared stove top stuffing mix evenly over the ham and vegetable mixture in the casserole dish.
  7. Bake: Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through and the top is lightly browned.
  8. Broil for Crunchy Top: For an extra crunchy top, switch the oven setting to broil for the last 5 minutes of baking.
