I made meatball subs for dinner. Super easy and filling. I made two each for my husband and myself and they were so filling we saved our 2nd one for dinner the 2nd night.
Sub bread – $3.48… came in a pack of 6 and I used 4
Mozzarella cheese – $3.98… I like a lot of cheese so I used half the bag… so 2 cups
Frozen meatballs – $5.86… I used 5 meatballs per sandwich so total of 20 meatballs and I still have at least half a bag left
One jar of marinara sauce – $1.25
Everything was from Walmart except for the sauce which was from Dollar Tree
Directions:
Heat up sauce and meatballs in a sauce pan on the stove. Meanwhile preheat oven to 350. Heat sauce and meatballs for above 20 min or until meatballs are tender. Put mixture into sub bread and cover with cheese. Bake in the oven for 15 min or until the cheese is golden
