Decadent Chocolate Wacky Cake
For the cake:
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup cocoa powder
⅓ cup oil
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp white vinegar
Pinch of salt
For the frosting:
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tbsp milk
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp honey
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.
Make a well in the center and pour in oil, water, vanilla extract, and white vinegar.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Pour the batter into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely.
For the frosting:
In a medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, cocoa powder, honey, butter, and vanilla.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and serve.
