Teriyaki Beef

Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 packs of teriyaki noodles
  • 1 package (about 10 ounces) frozen broccoli
  • 1 can (15 ounces) corn (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Ground Beef:
    • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully browned. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks to ensure even browning.
  2. Drain Excess Fat:
    • Once the beef is cooked, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Prepare Teriyaki Noodles:
    • Cook the teriyaki noodles according to the instructions on the package. Typically, this involves boiling them in water for a few minutes.
  4. Microwave Broccoli:
    • Place the frozen broccoli in a microwave-safe dish and cook in the microwave according to the package instructions.
  5. Combine Ingredients:
    • Once the beef, noodles, and broccoli are cooked, combine them in the skillet used to cook the beef. If you’re adding corn, drain and add it at this stage as well.
  6. Season to Taste:
    • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. The teriyaki noodles already add flavor, so adjust the seasoning according to your preference.
  7. Stir and Heat Through:
    • Stir the ingredients together, ensuring an even distribution of beef, noodles, broccoli, and corn. Heat the mixture on medium heat until everything is heated through.
  8. Serve:
    • Dish out the Teriyaki Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry onto plates and enjoy! It’s a quick and satisfying meal that incorporates the savory flavors of teriyaki with the heartiness of beef and the freshness of broccoli.
  9. Leftovers:
    • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a quick and easy meal the next day.
