cheesyyy chip dip!!
1. Lb burger
1. Lb breakfast sausage
A whole box velveeta cheese ( velveeta is best… generic has a different taste)
1 can rotel tomatoes
*fry both burger and sausage in two separate pans… drain grease off of both
*I spray my crockpot with non-stick
* pour both meat into crockpot
* add rotels
* slowly add cubbed velveeta every hour while stirring.
* cook on low for 6 hours.
* enjoy with any style tortilla chip you’d like!
Cheesy Chip Dip Delight
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 box Velveeta cheese, cubed (preferably Velveeta brand for best results)
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes, undrained
- Non-stick cooking spray
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions:
- Cook the Meats:
- In two separate pans, fry the ground beef and breakfast sausage over medium heat until fully cooked and no longer pink. Make sure to break the meat into small crumbles as it cooks.
- Drain the excess grease from both the cooked ground beef and sausage.
- Prepare the Crockpot:
- Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Combine Ingredients:
- Transfer the drained ground beef and sausage into the prepared crockpot.
- Add the undrained Rotel tomatoes to the crockpot, mixing them well with the cooked meats.
- Add Velveeta Cheese:
- Begin adding the cubed Velveeta cheese gradually, stirring the mixture well after each addition. Adding the cheese slowly ensures a smooth and creamy dip.
- Continue adding cubed Velveeta cheese every hour, stirring thoroughly each time, until the entire box of cheese has been incorporated into the dip. This gradual addition and stirring process will help achieve the perfect creamy consistency.
- Cook on Low:
- Set the crockpot to low heat and let the dip cook for 6 hours, allowing all the flavors to meld together and the cheese to fully melt. Stir occasionally to ensure the dip cooks evenly and stays creamy.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Once the dip is fully cooked and creamy, it’s ready to serve! Transfer the cheesy chip dip to a serving bowl.
