Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf
Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 1 box Stove Top Stuffing
- 2 eggs
- Ketchup (to taste)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- Brown sugar (for topping)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Stove Top Stuffing mix, eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
- While the meatloaf is baking, prepare the topping. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup and brown sugar to create a glaze.
- After 30 minutes of baking, remove the meatloaf from the oven and spread the ketchup-brown sugar glaze evenly over the top.
- Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the topping is caramelized and the meatloaf is cooked through.
- Once done, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve hot slices of Stove Top Stuffing Meatloaf with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
Note: Adjust the amount of ketchup according to your preference for sweetness and tanginess in the glaze.
