One of my kids favorite lunches… pizza dunkers.
Wrap pepperoni and string cheese in pillsbury pizza crust. Brush with garlic butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Bake according to pillsbury directions. Dunk in pizza sauce. Easy, yummy, and a perfect Game Day snack

Ingredients:

  • 1 can Pillsbury pizza crust
  • Pepperoni slices
  • String cheese sticks
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup pizza sauce for dunking

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven according to the Pillsbury pizza crust package directions.
  2. Prepare the Pizza Dunkers: a. Unroll the Pillsbury pizza crust onto a clean surface. b. Place a layer of pepperoni slices evenly over the pizza crust. c. Lay string cheese sticks across the pepperoni.
  3. Roll and Cut: Carefully roll the pizza crust with the pepperoni and cheese into a log shape. Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 1-inch slices, creating individual pizza dunkers.
  4. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the pizza dunkers on a baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  5. Make Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Brush with Garlic Butter: Brush each pizza dunker with the garlic butter mixture, ensuring an even coating.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven according to the Pillsbury pizza crust package directions or until the pizza dunkers are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
