No-Bake Sugar Cookie Cake Pops
Ingredients:
- 12 sugar cookies
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- White chocolate (or colored chocolate of your choice)
- Sprinkles
Instructions:
- Prepare the Cookies:
- In a food processor or using a zip-top bag and a rolling pin, crush the sugar cookies into fine crumbs.
- Combine with Cream Cheese:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar cookie crumbs with the softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended and a dough-like consistency is formed.
- Shape into Balls:
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. Place each ball on a parchment-lined tray.
- Insert Sticks:
- Insert a cake pop stick or straw into the center of each sugar cookie ball. Ensure the stick is securely in place without going through the other side.
- Chill in the Refrigerator:
- Place the tray in the refrigerator and let the cake pops chill for about 10 to 15 minutes. This helps them firm up and makes the dipping process easier.
- Melt the Chocolate:
- While the cake pops are chilling, melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, following the package instructions. If desired, add food coloring to achieve the desired color.
- Dip in Chocolate:
- Once the cake pops are chilled, dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
- Add Sprinkles:
- While the chocolate coating is still wet, dip the cake pops into the sprinkles, rotating them to cover the entire surface with sprinkles.
- Chill Again:
- Place the decorated cake pops back onto the parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for another 10 minutes or until the chocolate coating is set.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Once the chocolate is fully set, your no-bake sugar cookie cake pops are ready to be served. Enjoy these delightful treats as a sweet and easy-to-make dessert!
Tips:
- Experiment with different colored chocolates and sprinkles for various occasions.
- If you don’t have a cake pop stick, you can use paper straws or lollipop sticks.
- Get creative with the decorations by adding drizzles of contrasting chocolate or edible glitter.
- Store the cake pops in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
