  • 4 cups shredded chicken
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 16 ounce container sour cream-based French onion dip (e.g., Dean’s)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar)
  • French fried onions

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion dip, and shredded cheese. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  4. Transfer the noodle and chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the caramelized onions over the top of the casserole.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and heated through.
  7. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle French fried onions over the top.
  8. Return the casserole to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the French fried onions are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious French Onion Chicken and Noodle Casserole with a delightful twist of caramelized onions!
