Family Classic Tuna Melt
Ingredients:
- 1 can of tuna
- 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
- 5 slices of bread
- 5 slices of cheese
- Garlic salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven’s broiler on high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the tuna and cream of mushroom soup until well mixed.
- Place the bread slices on a baking sheet.
- Spread the tuna and mushroom mixture evenly onto each slice of bread.
- Top each bread slice with a slice of cheese.
- Sprinkle garlic salt over the cheese to taste.
- Place the baking sheet under the broiler and cook until the cheese is bubbly and starts to brown, approximately 3-5 minutes. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
- Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your family’s classic tuna melt!
