Crockpot Creamy Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of mushroom soup
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Jasmine rice, cooked, for serving
- Steamed green beans, for serving
Instructions:
- Place the cubed beef stew meat, sliced mushrooms, and onion soup mix in the crockpot.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the ingredients in the crockpot.
- Stir everything together until the ingredients are well combined.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 7 hours.
- After 7 hours, add the softened cream cheese and sour cream to the crockpot. Stir well to combine with the other ingredients.
- Cover and continue cooking on low heat for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the cream cheese to melt and incorporate into the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the creamy beef stroganoff over cooked Jasmine rice, accompanied by steamed green beans.
