Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie

  • 2 cans original cinnamon rolls (with icing)

  • Cinnamon sugar
  • Butter, for greasing the pan

1. Preheat the Oven:

1.1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

1.2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter to prevent sticking.

2. Prepare the Crust:

2.1. Take one can of cinnamon rolls and press them into the bottom of the greased baking pan, creating an even layer to form the crust.

3. Add the Apple Pie Filling:

3.1. Spread the apple pie filling evenly over the cinnamon roll crust in the pan.

4. Sprinkle with Cinnamon Sugar:

4.1. Sprinkle the apple pie filling with a generous amount of cinnamon sugar to enhance the flavor.

5. Create the Top Layer:

5.1. Pull apart the remaining cinnamon rolls and place them on top of the apple pie filling, covering it completely.

6. Bake:

6.1. Bake the cinnamon roll apple pie in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cinnamon rolls are cooked through.

7. Prepare the Icing:

7.1. While the pie is baking, prepare the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls according to the package instructions. Usually, this involves mixing the icing with a little water or milk until smooth.

8. Finish and Serve:

8.1. Once the cinnamon roll apple pie is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly.

8.2. Drizzle the prepared icing over the top of the warm pie.

8.3. Allow the pie to cool for a few more minutes to let the icing set.

8.4. Slice and serve the cinnamon roll apple pie while it’s still warm. Enjoy the delightful combination of cinnamon rolls and apple pie in every bite!

This indulgent dessert is perfect for special occasions or whenever you’re craving a sweet treat that combines the best of cinnamon rolls and apple pie flavors.
