Chicken Parm Sliders Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 package of rolls ($1.50)
- 1 package of chicken nuggets ($3)
- 1 cup marinara sauce ($2.50)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese ($2.49)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the chicken nuggets according to the package instructions until they are crispy and golden brown.
- While the nuggets are cooking, prepare the garlic butter mixture. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to brown the garlic. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Slice the rolls horizontally, creating a top and bottom half. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
- Once the chicken nuggets are done, place them evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
- Spoon marinara sauce over each nugget, ensuring an even distribution.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.
- Place the top half of the rolls on top of the cheese.
- Using a pastry brush, generously brush the tops of the rolls with the prepared garlic butter mixture. Make sure to cover the entire surface.
- Season the tops of the rolls with salt, pepper, and chopped parsley.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops of the rolls are golden brown.
- Once done, take the sliders out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Cut between the sliders to separate them and serve warm
