Ingredients:
- 5 lbs steak, cut into smaller pieces
- 2 packets onion soup mix
- 4 cans stewed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for browning)

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

- Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350°F (175°C), allowing the flavors to meld and the steak to become perfectly tender.
- Once done, carefully remove the baking dish from the oven. Uncover and check for tenderness.
