  • Allow them to cool completely.

2. Cook Sausage Patties:

  • Cook the sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and browned.
  • Place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease.

3. Assemble the Sandwiches:

  • Cut each biscuit in half.
  • Place a sausage patty on the bottom half of each biscuit.

4. Add Cheese:

  • Lay a cheese slice on top of the sausage patty.

5. Wrap in Parchment Paper:

  • Cut a square of parchment paper (about a foot long).
  • Place the assembled sandwich in the center and fold the parchment paper around it, creating a neat package.
  • Make sure the parchment paper completely covers the sandwich.

6. Place in Freezer Bags:

  • Once wrapped in parchment paper, place each sandwich in a Meijer quart freezer bag.
  • Label the bags with the date for easy organization.

7. Freeze:

  • Store the sandwiches in the freezer. They can be stored for up to a week or more.

8. Reheating:

  • In the morning, your husband can take a sandwich out of the freezer and remove the Meijer quart freezer bag.
  • Microwave the sandwich in the parchment paper for about 30 seconds, or until heated through.

Optional: Add Eggs (for those who like them):

  • If you want to add eggs to the sandwiches, mix eggs and bake them in a casserole dish.
  • Once cooked, cut the eggs into squares to fit the sandwiches.
  • Layer the egg squares with the sausage and cheese during the sandwich assembly process.
