Crock Pot Meatball Pasta Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (about 24 oz) frozen meatballs
  • 1 bottle (24-26 oz) spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 box (about 8 oz) penne pasta
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic salt to taste
  • Water (about half a bottle of spaghetti sauce)

Optional:

  • Provolone cheese slices for topping

Instructions:

  1. Place the frozen meatballs in the crock pot.
  2. Cook on high for about 30 minutes to partially thaw the meatballs.
  3. Pour the spaghetti sauce over the meatballs.
  4. Fill the empty spaghetti sauce bottle halfway with water, shake to mix any remaining sauce, and pour into the crock pot.
  5. Add the penne pasta to the crock pot, ensuring it’s submerged in the sauce and water mixture.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.
  7. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
  8. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary to prevent the pasta from drying out.
  9. If using, place provolone cheese slices on top of the pasta during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking until melted.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy your super easy crock pot meatball pasta bake!
