Crock Pot Meatball Pasta Bake
Ingredients:
- 1 package (about 24 oz) frozen meatballs
- 1 bottle (24-26 oz) spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 box (about 8 oz) penne pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Garlic salt to taste
- Water (about half a bottle of spaghetti sauce)
Optional:
- Provolone cheese slices for topping
Instructions:
- Place the frozen meatballs in the crock pot.
- Cook on high for about 30 minutes to partially thaw the meatballs.
- Pour the spaghetti sauce over the meatballs.
- Fill the empty spaghetti sauce bottle halfway with water, shake to mix any remaining sauce, and pour into the crock pot.
- Add the penne pasta to the crock pot, ensuring it’s submerged in the sauce and water mixture.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste.
- Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
- Cook on high for 2-3 hours or until the pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Add more water if necessary to prevent the pasta from drying out.
- If using, place provolone cheese slices on top of the pasta during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking until melted.
