Grape Salad

Yummm family favorite (Grape Salad) 🍇 😋
8 ounces cream cheese room temperature
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 pounds green grapes seedless (rinsed and dried)
2 pounds red grapes seedless (rinsed and dried)
1/4 cup brown sugar
add pecans if you like

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 pounds green grapes, seedless (rinsed and dried)
  • 2 pounds red grapes, seedless (rinsed and dried)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Optional: Pecans for extra crunch

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Grapes:
    • Rinse and thoroughly dry the green and red grapes. Set them aside.
  2. Creamy Base:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the room temperature cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
    • Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined. This forms the creamy base for the salad.
  3. Combine with Grapes:
    • Gently fold the green and red grapes into the creamy mixture, ensuring that all the grapes are evenly coated.
  4. Sweet Drizzle:
    • Sprinkle the brown sugar over the grape and cream mixture. Gently fold it in, ensuring the sugar is evenly distributed and begins to dissolve into the cream.
  5. Chill and Marinate:
    • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight. This allows the flavors to meld, and the salad to chill.
