
Gourmet Cake Mix Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 box of cake mix (lemon, chocolate, white, or red velvet)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs (adjust depending on the cake mix used)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Add-ins: sprinkles, white chocolate chips, M&M’s (or any of your favorite toppings)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, flour, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until well combined. The mixture should be thick and sticky.
- Gently fold in your choice of add-ins. You can mix in sprinkles, white chocolate chips, M&M’s, or a combination of them for added flavor and texture.
- Using a cookie scoop or your hands, portion out the dough into small balls. If the dough is too sticky, you can lightly flour your hands to make it easier to handle.
- Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie as they will spread during baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 9-10 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly golden brown. Be careful not to overbake as the cookies can become dry.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
