Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta with Texas Toast
Ingredients:
- 2 packs of frozen shrimp (approx. 1 lb)
- 2 cans (14.5 oz each) of Prego Alfredo sauce
- 1 box (16 oz) of thin spaghetti
- 1 box of Texas toast
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Prepare Texas Toast:
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Texas toast package.
- Arrange the slices of Texas toast on a baking sheet and bake them until golden brown and crispy.
- Cook Thin Spaghetti:
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add a teaspoon of salt to the boiling water.
- Add the thin spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Once cooked, drain the spaghetti and set aside.
- Prepare Creamy Alfredo Sauce:
- In a large skillet or saucepan, melt the tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
