Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Rotini
Ingredients:
- 1 box Rotini noodles ($0.82)
- 1 frozen bag of cut broccoli ($0.77)
- 1 frozen family size bag of fajita chicken ($6.28)
- 1 can of Ragu Double Cheddar Cheese sauce ($1.66)
- Garlic toast (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare Rotini Noodles:
- Boil a large pot of water.
- Add the Rotini noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Once cooked, drain the noodles and set aside.
- Cook Chicken and Broccoli:
- While the noodles are cooking, in a skillet or large pan, cook the frozen fajita chicken strips according to package instructions until they are fully cooked.
- Add the frozen broccoli to the skillet with the chicken.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings.
- Cook until the broccoli is tender and the chicken is well heated through.
- Combine Chicken, Broccoli, and Cheese Sauce:
- Once the chicken and broccoli are cooked, pour in the can of Ragu Double Cheddar Cheese sauce into the skillet.
- Stir well to combine, allowing the cheese sauce to warm through and coat the chicken and broccoli evenly.
- Combine Everything:
- Once the cheese sauce is warmed through, add the drained Rotini noodles to the skillet.
- Gently toss everything together until the noodles are well coated with the creamy cheese sauce and mixed with the chicken and broccoli.
- Serve:
- Serve the Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Rotini hot with optional garlic toast on the side.
