Glazed steak

Glazed steak
I found two three packs of steak from walmart for about $7 a piece give or take!
I added about 2 cups of Dr. Pepper & half a bottle of Worcestershire sauce, i made sure the steak was covered with the pop & sauce, then garlic salt, steak seasoning, garlic herb seasoning, & lawrys salt. Cooked on high the whole time thats how you get the glaze ! It does take alittle while to glaze but i promise its worth it ! I normally like my steak medium rare but my husband introduced me to this ! I served it with homemade frys but everyone ate their plate before i could even get a picture. 6 steaks served two adults, one toddler, & two young men

Dr. Pepper Glazed Steak with Homemade Fries

Ingredients:

  • 6 steaks (packs from Walmart, approximately $7 each)
  • 2 cups Dr. Pepper
  • 1/2 bottle Worcestershire sauce
  • Garlic salt
  • Steak seasoning
  • Garlic herb seasoning
  • Lawry’s salt
  • Potatoes for homemade fries
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Steaks:
    • Place the steaks in a large bowl.
    • Pour 2 cups of Dr. Pepper and half a bottle of Worcestershire sauce over the steaks, ensuring they are fully submerged.
    • Sprinkle generous amounts of garlic salt, steak seasoning, garlic herb seasoning, and Lawry’s salt over the steaks.
    • Mix the steaks well in the marinade, making sure each piece is coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  2. Cooking the Steaks:
    • Preheat a grill or a skillet to high heat.
    • Place the marinated steaks on the hot surface and cook on high to achieve a beautiful glaze. You can baste the steaks with the marinade during cooking to enhance the flavor.
  3. Achieving the Glaze:
    • Continue cooking on high heat, flipping the steaks occasionally and basting with the marinade until a thick, caramelized glaze forms. This may take a bit of time, but the result will be worth it.
  4. Homemade Fries:
    • While the steaks are cooking, prepare homemade fries.
    • Peel and cut potatoes into thin strips for fries.
    • Heat cooking oil in a deep pan or fryer.
    • Carefully fry the potato strips until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serving:
    • Plate the glazed steaks alongside the homemade fries.
    • Serve this delicious meal to two adults, one toddler, and two young men, and watch the plates empty quickly!

Note: Adjust the seasoning quantities to your taste preferences, and feel free to experiment with other spices or herbs. Enjoy your Dr. Pepper Glazed Steak with Homemade Fries!
